This Privacy Policy explains how JETSKI POOL (“JETSKI”, “we”, “us”), the developer of the JETSKI POOL app as listed on the App Store and Google Play, handles information in the JETSKI POOL app for iOS, iPadOS and Android (the “App”) and in the services it connects to at jetskipool.ai.

1. Summary

  • The App has no user accounts. We never ask for your name, email address or phone number.
  • No advertising, no analytics, and no tracking across apps or websites. We do not sell or rent your information.
  • The App only sends us what you choose to send: the wallet addresses you look up, a notification token if you turn notifications on, and the messages you post in Pool Chat.

2. Information the App handles

Wallet addresses. You can enter cryptocurrency wallet addresses (QUBIC, Pearl, Quantus) to see your mining statistics. Wallet addresses are public on their blockchains. The addresses you save are stored on your device, and the App may send an address to the corresponding pool’s server to retrieve its statistics. On iPhone and iPad, the first saved QUBIC address is also shared, on your device only, with the App’s home-screen widget.

Push notifications (optional). If you allow notifications, the App sends our notification server (push.jetskipool.ai) the following:

  • your device’s push notification token;
  • your platform (iOS or Android);
  • the wallet addresses saved in the App;
  • your notification settings (such as payouts, blocks found, rigs going offline and announcements).

We use this information only to send you the notifications you turned on. Notifications are delivered by Apple Push Notification service on iOS and iPadOS, and by Google Firebase Cloud Messaging on Android. These services receive the token and the notification content in order to deliver them. On Android, Firebase also creates an identifier for the App’s installation to issue the token.

Pool Chat (optional). The PEARLSKI and QUANTUSKI pools have a public chat.

  • A message you post is sent to that pool’s server with the random display name the App assigns you. Everyone using that chat can see it, in the App and on the pool’s website. Do not post personal information.
  • You must accept the chat rules before posting, and messages that break them are removed.
  • Blocking a user or hiding a reported message only takes effect on your device.
  • Reporting a message copies its details and opens our Discord, where you send the report to us.

Technical information. When the App loads pool statistics, our blog or other content, your device connects to our servers (jetskipool.ai and its subdomains). It also connects to CoinGecko for coin prices. Like any internet connection, these requests include your IP address and basic technical details, such as the time and the page requested. Our websites and services are delivered through Cloudflare. Our servers keep technical logs to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service; we do not use them to identify or track you.

Information stored only on your device. The following stay in the App on your device and are not sent to us, except as described above:

  • your saved wallets, settings and notification switches;
  • your chat display name, the users you blocked and your acceptance of the chat rules;
  • cached copies of pool data for offline use.

Uninstalling the App deletes them.

3. Permissions

The App asks for permission to send notifications, which is optional. It does not access your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or files.

  • To provide the features you use (statistics, notifications and chat): to perform the service you request. For notifications, the basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To keep the service and the chat safe (security, abuse prevention and moderation): our legitimate interests.
  • To comply with the law, where required.

We do not use your information for advertising or profiling.

5. Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run the App, and only as needed:

  • Apple Inc. (Apple Push Notification service) and Google LLC (Firebase Cloud Messaging), to deliver notifications;
  • Cloudflare, Inc., to deliver our websites and services securely;
  • our hosting providers, which host our servers.

The App also connects directly to CoinGecko to retrieve coin prices. We may disclose information when required by law. We never sell or rent information.

Some of these providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Retention

  • Notification data is kept while notifications are active. Removing a wallet in the App removes it from our server. Tokens that stop working, for example after you uninstall the App, are deleted automatically. You can also ask us to delete your registration.
  • Chat messages remain in the chat history until they are removed by moderation or at your request.
  • Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.
  • Information on your device stays there until you delete it or uninstall the App.

7. Security

All connections between the App and our servers are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Access to our servers is restricted, and we keep only the information needed to provide the service.

8. Your rights and choices

You can:

  • turn notifications off at any time in the App (More panel) or in your device settings;
  • remove saved wallets at any time;
  • use the App without posting in Pool Chat;
  • uninstall the App to delete everything stored on your device.

Depending on where you live (for example the European Union, the United Kingdom or California), you may have these rights:

  • to access, correct or delete your information;
  • to restrict or object to its processing;
  • to data portability;
  • to withdraw consent.

To exercise these rights, or to request deletion of data linked to your device or of your chat messages, contact us using the details below. Because the App has no accounts, we may ask for the wallet address you use in the App, or for the message concerned, to find your data. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).

9. Children

The App is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 in the European Union, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page, with the date it was last updated.
