The person behind the pool

Most big mining pools are run by companies. JETSKI is run by one person: me. Every server, every line of code and every support message goes through my hands.

I earned a Bachelor of Science in computer science at UCLA and later worked as a researcher at one of the AI companies now leading the frontier. That background still shapes how I work: I treat the pool and the miner like research problems, and good enough is never the goal.

I’ve lost count of the nights I went without sleep because my code wasn’t fast enough yet. Catch me anywhere, even at an airport gate waiting for a flight, and you’ll almost always find two laptops open in front of me.

Alongside the pool, I also offer farm management, rig rentals and custom software for miners who need more.

How it started

The first JETSKI pool went live on Qubic in March 2024. Nobody hands you a manual for running a mining pool, let alone one built on a custom protocol from scratch, so I learned it the hard way. Distributed infrastructure breaks in creative ways, and the competition never takes a day off.

In those early days, JETSKI still lived at jetskipool.xyz, and the Qubic docs listed it as the newcomer with the lowest fees. I started it as a solo pool, then added PPLNS once the neural-network settings on Qubic grew too demanding for smaller rigs to find solutions on their own.

From there, I kept building. I wrote qubjetski, my own Qubic mining client, ready to run on HiveOS, Linux, Windows or Docker.

Today, JETSKI has paid out a few million dollars to its miners, and the Discord community has grown past 2,000 members.

Somewhere along the way, the JETSKI name started traveling across the crypto space, known for its authenticity, its signature touch and a perfectionist streak.

Not bad for a pool that started life on a .xyz domain.

The JETSKI apps for iOS and Android put your mining stats in your pocket, and a brand-new interface lands in the next few days.

Why I built it

I built JETSKI with two goals in mind. The first was to give miners the best performance and the highest earnings possible. The second was to build the best community in crypto, one where help, optimization and feedback keep making the infrastructure better.

Both goals depend on trust, so I run JETSKI in the open: on the first pool, the stats of every miner sit side by side for anyone to see. Fees stay low, because miners of every size deserve to keep more of what they earn.

Underneath it all is the goal I care about most: using technology to help people improve their lives, just as it improved mine.

That’s why JETSKI is built for people first, not for corporate profit.

Where JETSKI goes next

If you’re reading this, it means a lot to me. JETSKI has reached a turning point, and from here there’s only one direction: forward, bigger, and firmly on the map.

2026 isn’t over yet, but it’s already the year all that work started paying off. And I’m only getting started.

JETSKI is expanding to new algorithms and coins, getting ready for a future where crypto and AI converge. Leading that push is the upcoming JETSKI-Miner, built on state-of-the-art mining code and CUDA engineering. It speaks multiple algorithms and updates itself, so you’re always running the fastest kernel.

Behind the miner, the pool itself is getting a new backbone, set to be finalized by the end of the year. It pairs freshly written, highly optimized pool code with the multi-algorithm miner, and it’s built around one obsession: the fastest code possible.
